The Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant (LPN or CMA) work with Providers in the clinic, participating in patient workflow by providing test results, provider recommendations, and answering medication questions, entering orders and scheduling appointments. This role is considered a part of the patients' clinical care team, and works closely with all areas of the clinic and ambulatory services.
Minimum Education Required: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program and licensed (or awaiting licensure) in the state of Wisconsin or completion of Certified or Registered Medical Assistant program/internship.
Minimum Related Years of Experience (per minimum education) Required: Previous experience working as a LPN or Medical Assistant within a primary care environment preferred. Keyboard skills, phone skills, and experience working with computer based programs required.
Credential/Licensure Required: MA candidates preferred to be Registered or Certified, or Licensed Practical Nurse.
Shift: Working Casual Call hours, meaning you will work as needed. 8 and 10 hour day options- 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.; 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. ; 6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. There is a 10% differential for hours worked.
