Our home healthcare company provides these services to Bensalem, PA and the surrounding counties of Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, Delaware and Philadelphia.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
- Ensure quality, patient / client focused, safe delivery of home healthcare services.
- Implement current nursing best practices.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned and as necessary.
- Promote effective written/verbal communication.
- Give accurate information to clients and client families regarding costs for home health care services.
- Provide information regarding equipment and supply needs of the home health care agency.
- Use equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently.
- Participate in salary programs, following approved home health care agency policies and procedures.
- Promote and maintain an agency environment that is in compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulatory statutes
- Promote and provide relevant education for home health care agency staff members, as necessary.
- Promote and provide relevant education for clients, client families, and the community.
- Ensure constant personal professional growth and development.
- Complete all required documentation in accordance with the standards of the agency, and regulatory requirements.
- Work effectively with the medical staff, other members of the health care team and administrative personnel. Maintain a healthy and cooperative working relationship.
POSITION QUALIFICATION
- Graduate of an approved school of vocational nursing, currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania
- Experience in home health care or related health field.
- Complete OnePlace Home Health new employee orientation, training, and pass OnePlace Home Health clinical competency tests
- Car with required proof of insurance coverage and a Pennsylvania Driver’s license
- Knowledge of all types of home health equipment utilized by patients as well as forms and paperwork necessary for relevant documentation
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to work up to 40 hours per week.
- Able to bend, lift and stand an average of at least 6 - 8 hours per day.
- Able to write up to 3 hours per day.
- Able to work in a stressful environment.
- Able to drive to and from your area of assignment.
- Able to assess and communicate with ill patients, co-workers, and the public.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
