Licensed Practical Nurse

Focused Staffing Group is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses- LPN to join our team. Our client's Personal Care home is an active community for senior living, join us in caring for residents residing in apartment-style living. COVID 19 VACCINE REQUIRED.

Job Responsibilities:

• Must play an active role in supervising Med Techs and Caregivers in our Personal Care Home
• Record a patient’s medical history accurately
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc.
• Assist ailing patients in necessary daily activities such as eating, bathing, etc.
• Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas, etc., clean and dress wounds, and assist with other basic medical care tasks
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
• Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions
• Effectively communicate with the Administrator and Director of Nursing

Documents to submit: (Current within the last 12 months)

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License in PA
• CPR and First Aid
• 2-step TB test
• Criminal Background Check
• Physical exam
• Vaccination Card

This engagement is an independent contractor position.

Pays up to $43/hr!
