Job Requirements
- Apassion for helping seniors
- A desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family & friends, and all team members.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Ability to work effectively as a team
Job Responsibilities
- Developing relationships with residents andtheir families and supporting the physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinicalneeds of the residents
- Communicate needs to and assist resident'sdoctors with medical assessments
- Supervise and motivate Caregivers and Medtechs
- Ability to maintain accurate and legiblerecords such as nurses' notes, incident reports, 24-hour reports and medicationrecords
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved LicensedPractical/Vocational Nursing Program
- Current licensure by the State Board of NurseExaminers
- Geriatric experience preferred but notmandatory.
- Experience with electronic medical recordspreferred but not required
- Experience with dementia care preferred but not required
