Form of workFor caregivers, peace of mind is essential. Our day center allows family caregivers peace of mind knowing their loved one is in a safe environment and participating in social activities. Adult Day Services (ADS) is a wonderful program of personalized care for adults who are physically, socially, emotionally and mentally challenged, or frail due to advanced age. This program helps older people maintain their independence by providing stimulating activities including daily exercise and craft projects.
Center Hours: 7:30am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday
Job Type: Per Diem reporting to Director of Adult Day Service
Position Summary: LPN coordinates and supervises basic health care services and needs of clients at Adult Day Center in downtown Johnson City. Responsibilities include but are not limited to administering medication, assisting with ADLs (e.g. toileting, feeding, dressing, ambulation,...) document health needs in care plan, and help design and implement the activity schedule.
Requirements: Clear, active Tennessee LPN license; 2-5 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred, recent graduates will be considered.
