Licensed Practical Nurse - Lpn

As a KVC Missouri LPN, you will expedite all matters pertaining to the immediate, routine, and emergency care for children in a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility setting.

KVC Missouri’s Residential Treatment program offers therapeutic services in a 24/7-supervised facility for children and teenagers with acute emotional and behavioral problems.

• Clients range from ages 6–20 years old.
• Dealing with acute emotional and behavior issues
• Struggling to maintain safety and stability in a less restrictive environment.

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Licensure/Certifications:

• Licensed and/or certified for professional practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) in the State of Missouri

Schedule:

• Full-time and PRN options available.
• PRN schedules require a minimum of 1 shift per pay cycle.
• Shift 1: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
• Shift 2: 11:00 am – 11:00 pm
• Some weekend rotations required.

Compensation:

• $24-$26 per hour (with shift differentials)

Shift Differentials:

• Weekday PM: Monday through Friday - $3 per hour
• Weekend AM: Friday through Monday - $3 per hour
• Weekend PM: Friday through Monday - $5 per hour

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide, and/or arrange for a provider for immediate, routine, and emergency healthcare services.
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Monitoring and assessing patients' physical and emotional well-being.
• Ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for residents.
• Educating patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans.
