Compassionate Home Health Care, Inc. is currently seeking an LPN and/or RN for the Fredonia, PA area.
Variable shifts available.
The LPN position is offering a sign on bonus of $3200 upon signing a 2 year contract for employment with a starting pay rate of $25 an hour, but negotiable.
The RN position is offering a sign on bonus of $5000 upon signing a 2 year contract of employment with a starting pay rate of $32 an hour, but negotiable.
This particular position entails caring for a female quadriplegic patient with chest down paralysis, with a trach and gtube. Nurses will be caring for her in her own home. ***PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A WORK FROM HOME POSITION, THE EMPLOYEE WOULD WORK IN THE CLIENT'S HOME***
All new hires will complete a PAID-onsite training program that will review all functions of residential day-to-day care, including but not limited to medication administration, charting, assessments, and daily care. Some of the job responsibilities include assess and chart observations of the patient's conditions at each visit, complete evaluation tasks, including medication and vital signs, dress or redress wounds and assess the healing progress, provide education to the patient and/or family on proper home health care procedures and strategies, coordinate with physicians, PT, OT, and other individuals in the patient's care plan.
Requirements: PA LPN or RN License must be active and valid, Driver License, Qualified applicant Must be willing to work SOME weekends.
Qualified applicants must possess the following Skills and Qualifications: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to act swiftly in emergencies and work efficiently, knowledge of clinical skills and charting. A qualified applicant should also feel comfortable with the autonomy required in Home Health. We will train you in the software documentation.
