Position Summary:
This position is responsible for promoting a person-centered recovery approach toward independence and integration utilizing the nursing process to all clients of the Center. This position is responsible for meeting the needs of clients through observance of proper nursing procedures and Center policies. This position is also responsible for supervising and directing the work of client care specialists and medical assistants as necessary. A person in this position relies on limited experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. A person in this position must exercise tact, judgment and confidentiality in contact with the public, clients and families, as well as fellow associates of the Center. This position requires a high level of professionalism.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for meeting the needs of consumers on an inpatient psychiatric unit through observance of proper nursing procedures and Center policies.
- Responsible for supervising and directing the work of client care specialists and medical assistants as necessary.
- Participate as core member of the treatment team in daily rounds.
- Ensure triage of referrals, staffing with physician, and administration of medications.
- Ensure efficient, timely, and supportive admission and discharge processes.
Shift Differentials
- Weekday night shift differential $5.00(7:00pm-7:00am Monday-Thursday)
- Weekend day shift differential $4.00(7:00am-7:00pm Saturday-Sunday)
- Weekend night shift differential $9.00(7:00pm-7:00am Friday-Sunday)

- Eligible for $150/month ($1,800 annually) in student loan repayment, available at hire
- Earn $750 for every person you refer who is hired and remains employed for 6 months and receive an additional $500 every year as long as you both remain employed

QualificationsBackground Checks:

Requirements:
- Licensed as an LPN in the state of Indiana, current and valid.
- Experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
