Griffin Memorial Hospital is recruiting for compassionate, dedicated nursing professionals - help us make a difference in the lives of all Oklahomans. Responsibilities include:
- Providing technical direct and indirect nursing care in a hospital under the supervision or direction of a registered nurses or licensed physician.
- Offering health care to patients, experiencing severe emotional disorder(s)/psychiatric illness or substance abuse.
- Performing crisis intervention and works collaboratively with Psychiatrists, Therapists, and other Nurses.
- Preparing medication and distributing on the unit.
Job Type/Salary:
- 8 hour shifts
- Annual Salaries:
- Level III: $49,000 / $23.557692 hourly
- Level II: $47,000 / $22.596154 hourly
- Level I: $45,000 / $21.634615 hourly
- Stacking Shift Differentials: $3.00 for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Primary Working Hours are:
- 6:30a – 3p (Day Shift)
- 2:30p -11p (Evening Shift)
- The FLSA Status is Non-Exempt for this Position.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Level III: Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a Licensed Practical Nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and three years of practical nursing experience.
- Level II: Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a Licensed Practical Nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and one year of practical nursing experience.
- Level I:Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a Licensed Practical Nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.

Special Requirements:
- Upon a conditional offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
- Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.

About us: Griffin Memorial Hospital (GMH) is located in Norman, Oklahoma, and serves all 77 counties in Oklahoma as the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) treatment center for adults. GMH provides community crisis stabilization and residential treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health and trauma related conditions.
