Elmwood Pediatric Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, promoting wellness, and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical settings.
Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Including, not limited to: Provide direct patient care to include complete patient intake- gather important information regarding medical/family history, current health concerns, complete medication reconciliation, administer medications and obtaining vitals. Height, weight, head circumference, obtain urine specimens as ordered, lead, hemoglobin and lipid testing.
Collaboration: Work closely with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Documentation: Accurately document patient information, treatments, and progress in electronic health records.
Education: Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and self-care techniques.
Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and contribute to the development of care plans.
Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient healthcare environment.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
Licensure: Current and valid LPN license in [State].
Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in using electronic health record systems.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
