Job Description:
- Assist registered nurses and physicians by helping patients with basic life activities such as eating and moving around, while also checking blood pressure and other vitals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide basic patient care and comfort, including changing bandages and helping with bathing or dressing.
- Discuss care with patients and listen to their concerns. Report patients' status and concerns to registered nurses, advanced practice nurses, or physicians.
- Document patient care and maintain health records.
- Experience Required: PCC experience.
- License Required: NY State nursing License
- Certificates Required: BLS
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend required
- On-call Requirements: as required by the facility
- Holidays Requirements : as required by the facility
