Community Care and Counseling Services is looking to employ experienced licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our team at our esteemed Outpatient Clinic. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide vital counseling and therapy services to individuals, groups, and families.

Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting comprehensive assessments, accurately diagnosing Mental Health disorders, and developing personalized treatment plans.

Through leading therapy sessions, you will empower patients to explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and make positive changes in their lives.

Additionally, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring holistic and integrated care for our patients. By joining us, you will contribute to improving the mental well-being and overall quality of life for those we serve.

To be successful as a Mental Health Therapist, you should demonstrate compassion, patience, and understanding when treating patients. Ultimately, an outstanding Mental Health Therapist should be able to effectively communicate with patients to establish trust and accurately assess patients’ progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients
• Diagnose and treat Mental Health disorders
• Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances
• Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress
• Involve and advise family members when appropriate

Qualifications:

• Master's level degree or above, with current independent license - LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, PhD/Psyd, MD
• Minimum 1 year direct clinical care.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Enjoys and works effectively in culture of collaboration, ongoing change, commitment to racial equity, diversity and inclusion.
• The ability to work within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Passion for providing quality behavioral Mental Health services to an otherwise underserved population.
• Demonstrated sound clinical judgment.
• Knowledge of community resources.
• Ability to speak effectively with clients, clinical personnel, and Clinic staff.
• Digital fluency including experience with electronic medical records and MS Office
