Position: Sr. Plumber - Mechanical Construction
Location: Boston Metro Area, MA
Type: Permanent-Full Time
Compensation: $90,000 to $115,000 (Commensurate with experience)

About the Position: You are the expert…as the Licensed Master Plumber, you will be capable of commercial plumbing installs, repairs and maintenance. This would include cast iron undergrounds, cast iron above ground, venting and copper as needed for commercial code requirements.
Education, Experience and Licensing: The successful candidate must possess a high school diploma and have 2 to 4 years of plumbing industry experience. The successful candidate must have the following:
- Masters in MA
- JM/Masters in at least 1 other state/NH, RI, or CT
- Valid Driver’s License
- OSHA 30
Specific Competencies and Knowledge Base:
- Holding plumbing inspections as needed
- Problem solving, quoting solutions, and interacting directly with customers
- Gas pipe sizing and design of system
- Circulator pump sizing, repair, and replacement
- Plumbing and gas code interpretations and understanding
- Lead a team in a positive manor
- Be capable of multitasking and communicate in an effective way
- Basic understanding of HVAC components relating to plumbing
- Basic boiler install and diagnostics, repair and service including venting
- Hydronic heat piping, repairs, and service (Steam & Hot Water)
- Commercial restaurant services and repairs on plumbing and gas systems
- Capable of reading venting charts, gas charts and plumbing charts in the code book
- Proactive with ordering parts and scheduling work as needed

- Maintain a clean work vehicle
- Resupply truck stock as needed
- Keep up to date with training, license and courses as needed
- Support on the on-call rotation
- Available for off hours work if needed
- Flexible to work interdepartmentally
- Timely and accurate entry of notes, hours, service reports and quotes
