Licensed Massage Therapist (Lmt)

If you're looking for a flexible work option, where you can work solo or with other therapists, we would love to have you on our team! Massage by Design is rapidly expanding, and we are seeking qualified professional therapists to perform chair massage at a variety of events.

If you already have a job, that works too! You'll be on our list to receive text notifications as soon as an event becomes available in your area. You decide if the job we post works with your existing, weekly schedule.

Therapists will be selected based on ability to represent Massage by Design with professionalism and a presence which is conducive to the overall image of health and wellness.

Basic Requirements:

- Current Massage Therapy certification or license

- Proof of GL insurance

- Must have a professional grade chair that is fully functional and in good repair

- Bring sanitizing materials to events

- Proficient knowledge of anatomy and physiology

- Excellent communication skills to ‘design’ a welcoming, safe and relaxing atmosphere

- Ability to work with deadlines and respond to emails in a timely manner

- Ability to incorporate a variety of massage techniques and tools if necessary

- Good time management- Reliable transportation

- Friendly Disposition

- Wear attire that is appropriate for performing chair massage

- Dependability and reliability are a must!

*Therapists may hand out their business cards or contact info for outcall or their private practice. Soliciting chair massage from our client is not allowed.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 6 per week
