ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform Massage, Body and Spa therapies for guests in accordance with prescribed treatment protocols and department standards.
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to shift to check schedule, prepare room, and check in with supervisor.
- Ensure proper setup of room and work areas in accordance with SOP's.
- Must have the knowledge and ability or be willing to learn all Core Spa Treatments as determined by management.
- Must have complete working knowledge of:
- Must attend all Resort, Spa and departmental meetings and trainings.
- Legibly complete requisitions for supplies/materials and submit to supervisor.
- Start and end spa treatments on time.
- Escort guests to and from treatments. Be able to offer guests directions to other parts of the property.
- Make product recommendations to guests.
- Make certain that treatment room is made up and stocked prior to end of shift.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Red Mountain Gold Star Standards.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Graduate of an approved 500-hour course in Massage Therapy and at least 6 months to a year experience in field, preferably in a spa environment. Must be able to use computer and basic software related to treatment scheduling.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, to guests and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals. Ability to accurately follow company procedures for processing guest vouchers.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple situations with little supervision. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.

State of Utah Massage Therapy License, NCBTMB Certification.
