Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments to determine appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans
- Provide exceptional patient service and ensure a comfortable and safe environment
- Administer various massage techniques, including trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and promote relaxation
- Assist with pain management and rehabilitation for patients with acute or chronic conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists, to support patients' overall well-being
- Apply knowledge of physiology and anatomy to target specific areas of concern during massage sessions
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist
- Proven experience in providing massage therapy services
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficient in various massage techniques, including trigger point therapy
- Ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
