Licensed Journeyman Electrician (High Per Diem)

Job description

Must have Journeyman electrician License!

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Learn to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to understand the layout of electrical wiring
- Assist in the installation of electrical components, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and switches
- Assist in the testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues
- Learn to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on electrical systems
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of electrical principles and concepts
- Ability to learn and apply electrical skills under the guidance of experienced electricians
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform tasks requiring repetitive motions and lifting heavy objects
- Willingness to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers
- High school diploma or equivalent

Skills:
- Electrical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Familiarity with industrial electrician practices and procedures
- Experience with frame carpentry for electrical installations
- Proficiency in using hand tools for electrical work
- Understanding of electrical schematics and diagrams
- Knowledge of high voltage systems for commercial applications
- Familiarity with power tools used in electrical installations
