We are offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for the Lead Clinician.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Clinician Supervisor is an exempt position. The Clinician Supervisor will coordinate clinical services for the UC Program, train new clinicians, and supervise the clinical staff. Responsible to complete in-depth assessments for all children in order to facilitate a thorough review of the child's past history, to assess their current issues and treatment needs, provide child with appropriate individual counseling and participation in group counseling.
  • The Clinician Supervisor will develop a Clinical Services program for the UC Program which will include individual assessments, individual counseling and group counseling.
  • The Clinician Supervisor will supervise clinicians to assist with the above-related responsibilities.
  • The Clinician Supervisor is responsible for conducting initial psychosocial assessments on each new child. The Clinician Supervisor will return the assessments to each assigned Case Manager within regulated time of admission to the UC Program.
  • Responsible for determining child's psychiatric diagnosis based on diagnostic criteria from DSM-IV- TR, if applicable.
  • Must ensure concise and timely completion of all documentation in an Avatar Progress Note within the regulated time of occurrence of the event to be documented.
  • The Clinician Supervisor will ensure that each child participate in one individual counseling session per week.
  • The Clinician Supervisor will ensure that each child participate in at least two group counseling sessions per week or one group session and one on-site community meeting.
  • Participate in monthly supervision and monthly staff meetings and peer audits with Program Director and staff.
  • Provide direct services to children to ensure a staff/client ratio is maintained in accordance with Department Children and Families regulations.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
  • Must have a Master's degree in social work with clinical experience in the program,
    • or a minimum, must have a Master's degree in social work, two (2) years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience
    • or a Master's degree or Ph.D. in psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which clinical experience is a program requirement, plus two (2) years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience/or bachelor's degree plus five (5) years clinical employment experience in the behavioral sciences.
  • Must have supervisory experience and be licensed to provide clinical services in the State of Florida.
  • Must have an active Florida License in the field of Social Work LCSW, Mental Health Counseling LMHC, or Marriage and Family Therapy LMFT.
  • Proof of Immunization for: Varicella (2 doses), MMR (2 dose), Influenza (1 dose yearly), Tdap (1 dose). Must be COVID vaccinated.
  • Must have a valid drivers' license and current auto insurance coverage.
