Gándara’s Springfield Family Resource Center aims to provide community-based, culturally competent programs that provide evidence-based parent education programs, youth and parent support groups, early childhood services, information and referral, educational support, cultural events, and other opportunities for families whose children range in age from birth to age 18.
The Springfield Family Resource Center Clinician performs trauma-informed intakes, and conducts the intake, screening, and assessment functions for Family Members experiencing CRA-related issues. The Clinician is responsible for completing the CANS as well as other identified supplemental behavioral needs assessments. The Clinician oversees the development of the Family Support Plan and provides ongoing supervision and case management oversight to the Family Partner. Clinicians shall provide clinical support to other FRC staff and may also facilitate FRC parenting group sessions.
Qualifications:
- Master’s level Licensed Clinician
- Licensed eligible with experience working as a clinician with families, considered to apply
- Must have at least three years of experience as a Licensed Clinician, as well as experience administering the CANS
- Experience and demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations in a community-based setting using a family-centered, strength based approach required
