Our 15 bed residential treatment center is committed to providing a nurturing environment tailored to meet the unique developmental needs of our residents - boys aged 10 - 17.
LCCA Responsibilities
- The Licensed Child Care Administrator is responsible for the general administration of the facility and ensuring quality care, services, safety, and advocacy for our youth.
- Reports directly to the CEO
- Implementing individualized service plans for youth.
- Completing all required documentation in line with licensing regulations and agency policies.
- Ensuring facility compliance with government standards and SHYH policies.
- Staff supervision and scheduling.
- Collaboration with case managers, therapists, doctors, schools, and counselors.
- Ensures the maintenance of youth records and compliance with all applicable state and local laws, standards, and regulations.
- Ensuring the provision of planned but flexible program activities designed to meet the developmental needs of children.
Personnel Responsibilities
- Ensure employees have appropriate training to carry out their job functions and handle emergencies effectively.
- Assigning tasks to caregivers that do not conflict or interfere with caregiver responsibilities.
- Overseeing staffing patterns to ensure the supervision and the provision of child-care services that meet the needs of children in care.
- Ensuring persons whose behavior or health status presents a danger to children are not allowed at the operation.
General Professional Knowledge
- Understanding of state licensing CCR standards, regulations, and accreditation procedures.
- Awareness of the impact of domestic/family violence on children and commitment to trauma-informed care.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong supervisory and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to analyze situations accurately and develop effective action plans.
- Independence in working, training, and evaluating staff performance.
- Professionalism in establishing and nurturing meaningful relationships.
Qualifications:
- Availability for day shifts, including some state and federal holidays.
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Possession of a valid state driver’s license.
- Mandatory: A valid Child Care Administrator's License in the State of Texas
This position supervises and has daily on-site administrative responsibilities for the overall operation.
License/Certification:
