Full Job Description:
- Home in the Heart Healthcare Agency Professionals has an exciting opportunity for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) seeking employment opportunities in TN. This is a per diem role.
Licensed Practical Nurse professionals will enjoy:
- 12 hours 7pm-7am , 7a-7p, 3p-11p, and 7a-3pshifts
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Minimum Requirements:
- Active License
- Pass a Background check
- Pass a Drug Test or a previous test taken within the last 12 months
- Active CPR Certification
- Covid vaccinated (Must have a Covid Card)
- TB test taken within the last 12 months
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties
- LPN will monitor patients’ health—for example, by checking their blood pressure
- LPN will provide for the basic comfort of patients, such as helping them bathe or dress
- LPN will discuss the care they are providing with patients and listen to their concerns
- LPN will report patients’ status and concerns to registered nurses
- LPN will keep records on patients’ health
- LPN gives medication as described.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Important Qualities:
Compassion. Licensed practical and licensed vocational nurses must be empathetic and caring toward the people they serve. - Detail oriented. LPNs need to be responsible and detail oriented, because they must make sure that patients get the correct care at the right time.
- Interpersonal skills. Interacting with patients and other healthcare providers is a big part of their jobs, so LPNs need good interpersonal skills.
- Patience. Dealing with sick and injured people may be stressful. LPNs should be patient, so they can cope with any stress that stems from providing care to these patients.
- Physical stamina. LPNs should be comfortable performing physical tasks, such as bending over patients for a long time.
- Speaking skills. It is important that LPNs communicate effectively. For example, they may need to relay information about a patient’s current condition to a registered nurse.
Pay: $25/hr
