Overview:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The Technical Services Technician actively participates in the daily operations of the Technical Services unit which includes the acquisition and maintenance of print and electronic resources.
Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate URL links in OCLC World Management System, Docline, and OCLC.
- Maintain usage statistics for print and electronic resources for annual budget assessment, journal renewals, annual national surveys, and external accreditation reports.
- Assist in the processing of invoices.
- Assist in print resource projects as assigned.
- Maintains procedure manual and project calendar.
- Aids with library projects and goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School and two (2) years of library experience. Demonstrated intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree with coursework in library science or related fields. Proven experience in organization skills and project coordination. Experience with library organization, methods and practices. Knowledge of OCLC and intergrated library systems is highly desirable.
