Oversee the administration of district library/media centers and coordinate the delivery of library/media services to meet the educational needs of all students. Ensure that services and resources that allow students to develop skills in locating, evaluating, synthesis
Education/Certification:
- High school diploma or hold a General Educational Development (GED) certificate
- Have met formal academic assessment, associate's degree, or two years of study at an institution of higher learning*
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills
- Ability to shelve books following the district cataloging system
- Ability to work well with children
- Effective, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
- Experience working with children and clerical experience is preferred but not required, and using information is provided.
