LFS also has five year-round locations in Alaska: Anchorage, Cordova, Dutch Harbor, Homer (Kachemak Gear Shed), and Sitka; and three seasonal locations in Kenai, Dillingham and Naknek. While our core business is supplying the commercial fishing industry, we have evolved to include industrial and sports netting sales, hydraulic sales and services, wholesale/industrial sales, recreational marine and outdoor sales, and internet sales.
Summary:
LFS is seeking a Warehouse Worker for our Naknek Alaska seasonal location. Job runs from mid-April to mid-August. The job requires you to work 12-14 hours a day, 7 days a week. Alaska overtime rules apply. This is a seasonal non-benefited position.

- Unloads containers with freight and/or finished goods.
- Sorts packages, stocks warehouse and sales floor
- Pulls orders for commercial customers.
- Makes deliveries to local customers.
- Takes garbage to the dump.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Have basic knowledge of all aspects of warehousing, receiving, shipping and inventory control.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications (education, years of experience, KSAs)
- 2-4 years warehouse experience
Preferred education and experience
- Forklift certified.
Work environment:
Fast, loud, busy. Retail sales floor, warehouse, production area, office, boat yard.
Physical demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
The employee is required to talk or listen.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
