Job Summary
This internship position is focused on supporting the delivery of analytics and insights to Levy’s operators and partners in our Cultural Attractions division surrounding food & beverage operations specifically at Navy Pier and Ravinia Festival. In this role, you will be responsible for working with Levy’s Director of Operations and E15’s analysts to develop analytical tools (modeling, reporting, visualizations, and more) to help drive the business and enhance the guest experience. This role will be employed through September 2024.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop reporting (heat maps, dashboards, slide decks, status updates) standards and formats for partner and operator end use.
- Analyze and build optimal solutions around specific business needs (labor, speed of service, menu concentration).
- Work on a long-term project that assesses how to automate the measurement of speed of service while developing viable and cost-effective solutions and to improve throughput.
- Perform routine data checks to identify any major issues with the flow of transactional data.
Qualifications:
- Earning a degree in business strategy, business analytics, finance, economics, or a related field
- Experience using SQL, R, Python, and/or Tableau for data analysis and visualization
- Can share examples of using data to solve complex problems
