Job Description
Full-time position for Advanced UT Technician in the Ponca City, OK area, with competitive pay and full benefits.
Level II Phased Array Specialist – NDT Level II individual must have sufficient technical knowledge and skills to be qualified to set up and calibrate equipment and to interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications. The NDT Level II must be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified and shall exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of trainees and NDT Level I personnel. The NDT Level II must be able to organize, and report results of NDT tests.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Level 2 Certification in Phased Array (PAUT)
- Level 2 certification in UT Shear wave (UTSW)
- Valid Driver’s License and pre-access drug and alcohol testing required.
- Pre-employment background checks will be required.
- Valid TWIC Card required.
- AUT Experience would be considered an asset.
- Rope Access Certification would be considered an asset TOFD.
- TFM/FMC experience would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of refinery operations and damage mechanisms would be considered an asset.
Physical Requirements:
- Move, carry, and lift objects 50 lbs. or more.
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, reach, and climb.
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Remain constantly active throughout shift.
