Salary: $18.00 - $21.50/hr

Position Summary:  Via Credit Union is seeking a Lending Center Processor reporting to the Director of Consumer Loans.  The Processor is responsible to process all approved applications that are received through the Lending Center platform and assist in the completion of all loan documents through electronic methods or by assisting in the completion of documents for closing at a branch, open new accounts requested online, and process skip pay requests.  Scheduled hours are  Tuesday - Thursday 8:15 - 4:30, Friday 8:15 - 5:00, and Saturday 8:15 - noon unless otherwise specified.  The position is eligible for incentive pay.

Essential Functions:

  • Gather loan data to prepare documents
  • Assist in setting up payment options
  • Track titles and other paperwork associated with loans 
  • Follow-up with members or other departments as needed
  • Adhere strictly to credit union policies and procedures
  • Inform members of decisions in a timely manner, to include Adverse Action Notice
  • Share features and benefits of products/services
  • Be willing to offer suggestions that would enable us to provide better services
  • Correctly and accurately identify members for BSA and CIP purposes
  • Review loan documents for accuracy to loan approval
  • Be prepared to answer member questions
  • Other duties as assigned


Skills & Abilities:

Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:  

  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
  • Data entry experience
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, necessary in working with members and colleagues
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including Word and Excel
