The Summer Intern - Regulatory Compliance will work with the Regulatory & Compliance team.
This is a paid 10-week, full-time internship that will start on or around June 2024, with an end date in August 15, 2024.

The Summer Intern - Regulatory Compliance will work with the Regulatory & Compliance team.

Main accountabilities:
- Read and become familiar with North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Operations and Planning (693) and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Reliability Standards
- Conduct research to gather internal NERC evidence and documentation to meet all standards and requirements
- Create workflows within compliance management system to support regulatory requirements
- Assist with day-to-day NERC Compliance and documentation activities
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum qualifications:
- Pursuing information technology or cyber security-based bachelor's degree
- Analytical-minded
- Detail-oriented
- Well-organized
- Strong written and oral communicator
- Understanding of Microsoft products and/or complementing products preferred
- Competency in analytical problem solving, strong communication, and technology expertise preferred
- Knowledge of data science and Linux based operating systems preferred

- Sitting/Standing/Flexibility:Ability to stand and sit for 8 or more hours when in an office environment

- Lifting:Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds
- Vision/Hearing:Ability to understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
