Job description

SUMMARY: The Legal Recruiting Specialist will manage and coordinate all aspects of attorney sourcing across offices. Additionally, will assist the Director of Legal Recruiting on partner sourcing projects once trained as needed. Responsibilities will include but not limited to working closely with the Director of Legal Recruiting, Office Managing Partners (OMPs), Department Chairs and Hiring Managers to identify sourcing needs and innovative solutions; posting open positions, reviewing candidate applications and resumes, coordinating interviews and candidate evaluations, updating applicant tracking database, responding to candidate inquiries and maintaining contact throughout the recruiting cycle, collecting and analyzing due diligence information, and drafting and coordinating finalization and distribution of candidate offer letters and agreements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Gathers candidate profile information from Hiring Managers, OMPs, Department Chairs, Director of Legal Recruiting, and drafts appropriate job descriptions.
2. Posts open positions on internal/external websites, and job boards once approved. Removes postings once positions are filled.
3. Screens resumes and forwards potential candidates to appropriate department chairs/hiring managers for review.
4. Coordinates scheduling and interview logistics with candidates and interviewers; enters interview schedules into applicant tracking system nd forwards evaluation links as appropriate.
5. Follows-up with interviewers/hiring managers, candidates, and recruiters with appropriate updates, and outstanding matters.
6. Assists with special recruitment projects as needed, e.g. reservations for group dinners, travel needs, etc.
7. Manages and organizes candidate files with all necessary documentation.
8. Participates in meetings as requested to take notes, follow-up, etc.
9. Creates and helps distribute new recruiting agreements and offer letters, including maintaining an executed agreement binder and database that is distributed to all OMPs.
10. Processes department expense reports.
11. Daily review and update of DDQ paperwork.
12. Coordinate with Human Resources on employment and back ground searches.
13. Facilitate and complete reference gathering process.
14. Produces and circulates recruiting reports and updates
15. Reviews and analyzes predictive metrics and analytics for process improvement and efficiency indicators.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
1. Bachelor’s degree conjunctively with a minimum of three to five years of Legal Recruiting experience.
2. Demonstrated solid project management skills, superior attention to detail and the ability to proofread reports and materials for grammatical ,typographical and spelling errors.
3. Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate and follow the instructions effectively from a diverse group of attorneys and staff and provide information with accuracy, professionalism, courtesy and tact.
4. Demonstrated ability to represent the firm in a professional manner at all times.
5. Superior ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressureenvironment.6. Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform duties of the position.

WORKING CONDITIONS:1. Normal law office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
