We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual Legal Intake Specialist in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The Legal Intake Specialist will be providing exceptional service to clients to achieve the best possible outcome.
Responsibilities:
-Conduct initial client interviews over the phone or in person to gather essential information regarding potential legal matters.
-Collect and accurately record client information, including contact details, case details, and relevant documentation.
-Evaluate the nature of each potential case and determine its suitability for representation by the firm.
-Collaborate closely with attorneys and legal staff to assess the urgency and priority of incoming cases.
-Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive client information.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in a Legal Intake or client services role is highly desirable.
-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts in an accessible manner.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software
-Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is advantageous but not required.
