About our Team:
The XpertHR US Content team is responsible for the ideation, creation, optimization and distribution of content for XpertHr products. This team works with the external authors, customer success. data operations, production, marketing, product and Sales teams to deliver quality content.
About the Role:
As a Legal Editor, you will use your expertise in Employment Law and HR Best Practices to translate content into clear, practical information.
You will be responsible for:
  • Tracking employment law developments and issues related to assigned topic areas. Providing timely updates of existing content and development of new content.

  • Maintaining an editorial calendar and obtaining approval on new content development plans and budget in support of the content strategy.

  • Writing, editing and updating material on existing and forthcoming legislation with constant attention to accuracy and readability.

  • Ensuring that assigned content is integrated cohesively on the site and works with other content for a seamless user experience.

  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to effectively convey the value proposition in the XpertHR product portfolio.
  • Working in close partnership with business functions (e.g. product, sales, marketing) to implement changes and new offerings to XpertHR's offerings.

  • Identifying content gaps and prioritizing expansion of critical content assets to increase value in proposition.

  • Performing all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Have a J.D., Senior level HR (e.g., SPHR or SHRM-SCP), or equivalent education or practical experience.

  • Have experience working in legal publishing or human resources.

  • Have a deep knowledge of compensation, benefits and payroll laws and practices. Have a solid understanding of the needs and priorities of human resource professionals.

  • Have ability to write about complex legal HR and compensation issues clearly and simply.

  • Have excellent management and organizational skills paying very close attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Have ability to collaborate with and support team members on a consistent basis, leading small groups when necessary.

  • Have demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office.
