The Headlines:
In the role of Legal Counsel working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the Americas Legal team. You will develop cross functional expertise providing legal support to the LATAM business organization and to the Procurement Team.
This role reports directly to the Assistant General Counsel, LATAM and Supply Chain, and works closely with the Procurement Team, as well as internal stakeholders across the business.
The Responsibilities:
  • Develop business relationships with the LATAM team and other stakeholders understanding their goals and priorities, providing practical and actionable legal advice for marketing, regulatory, and promotional activities.
  • Review product labels and marketing materials targeted to LATAM territories.
  • Manage outside counsel for compliance of LATAM entities.
  • Provide practical advice and guidance to internal clients and stakeholders, developing solutions to issues while effectively managing legal and practical business considerations.
  • Engage in contract drafting, review and negotiation of all types, including distribution agreements, master services agreements, master goods agreements, statements of work, purchase orders, nondisclosure agreements, and general service contracts for deliverables ranging from brewing and packaging materials to SaaS and data subscription agreements.
  • Provide support to supply chain on a wide variety of operational issues.
  • Improve existing legal resources and processes to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk.
  • Prepare and deliver training materials to educate colleagues about the use of, and periodic revisions to, contract templates and other legal resources.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Legal department culture and practices in alignment with Company-wide values, priorities, and goals.

Qualifications:
  • You have a law degree and are a member in good standing of a state bar.
  • You have three (3) to five (5) years of experience practicing law in a law firm and/or corporate legal department.
  • You are very organized and have extreme attention to detail.
  • You are fluent in Spanish.
  • You work independently with little supervision in a deadline-driven environment while managing multiple, competing priorities, and maintaining attention to detail.
  • You take accountability for results - acting with integrity and honoring commitments.
  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome.
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.
