Big-D Construction is looking for a shop service and leasing administrator to join our growing logistics team at our North Salt Lake City, UT yard location. This position will assist in the management of equipment, vehicle readiness, shop organization, and documentation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Open and close work orders with correct detail to work performed and parts used.
- Manage purchase orders for items needed within the service department, including opening, accepting goods-in, and closing.
- Order necessary parts for down equipment from outside vendors.
- Review, order, and adjust filter inventory for proper levels.
- Assign work to technicians based off equipment needs and technician capabilities.
- Work with outside equipment repair and autobody shops when necessary.
- Maintain positive relationships with parts vendors.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, and project teams.
- Using the 5S method keep workspaces organized, clean, and safe.
- Attend business unit meetings as required.
- Provide professional and relative feedback for improvement of layout, equipment needs, and increased productivity and efficiency.
- Represents Big-D Construction in a professional and ethical manner that promotes the goals and values set forth by the company.
Requirements:
- Requires High School Diploma or GED or 10 years of equivalent experience.
- 1 year experience with construction equipment, customer service, basic computer skills, and construction services.
- Must have valid Utah driver's license with excellent driving record.
