Job Summary:
Speak to potential new owners for rental properties and set up appointments or email or mail paperwork.
Communicate with Receptionist about rental list and website every day: Make sure new properties and properties on notice are on the rental list and website. Make sure to keep both rental list bins supplied for the day.
Assist customers: Provide customers with rental lists, applications, and keys. Answer phone calls and transferring calls to the appropriate person if necessary.
Responding to prospective applicants inquiring about rental properties through email, phone calls, etc.
Collecting/Handling Applications and Application Fees: Verify requirements are met (i.e. Verify income is sufficient, all applicants have submitted an application, run credit and background checks, Verify rental history (through fax, phone call, email, etc.), Approve/Deny Applicants)
Communicate with owners for offers, approvals, etc. for applicants and current tenants.
Scheduling appointments for applicants to pay the deposit and move into the property.
Drafting Leases/Deposit Paperwork (Can briefly explain the important information within the paperwork during the appointment: work order procedures, rental payment schedule, emergency line procedures, etc.)
Maintain move-in process (i.e. Re-key of property, power and water confirmation, keys, etc.)
Collect and file renter’s insurance for tenants and owners (Verify policies are still active and alert tenants/owners if not)
Receipting rent/deposit/owner payments
Collect notices, move-out paperwork, keys, work orders, and receipts from current tenants.
Assist with answering phone calls and assisting callers or transferring to the needed person.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
