Leasing Consultant

Artcraft Management, an industry leader in Property Management, is currently receiving applications for a Leasing Consultant in Newport News, Va. Let's get to know each other and let's get leasing!

Our ideal candidate for this position will have one to two years of prior apartment leasing experience, especially at a housing community for students, exceptional professionalism, a strong closing ratio, and superb customer service skills. Responsibilities

• Present apartments/facilities to prospective tenants in a friendly and persuasive manner
• Assist in discovering suitable tenants
• Phone, email, and in person correspondence
• Promote unoccupied units via social media and advertising platforms
• Provide accurate information on the different features of units and facilities
• Validate application information and references

Job Requirements/Skills:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
• Dependable and punctual with reliable transportation
• Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and well-rounded time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
• Hold or be wiling to obtain Fair Housing course certification
• Working knowledge of social media outlets and Microsoft Office applications
• Possess an ability to work independently and thrive as part of a team
• Appfolio experience is a plus
