Responsibilities:
- Embody safe working practices as dictated by company policies.
- Participate in company safety program to include:
- Monthly safety meetings
- Near miss and incident reporting
- Incident reviews
- Arbitrary training
- Daily inspections of production facilities and equipment.
- Horizontal heater treaters
- Storage tanks
- Recirculation, heat trace, and water transfer pumps
- Gas lift compressors
- Pumping units
- Repair and optimize production equipment as needed.
- Monitor and report daily production volumes.
- Manage liquid production and schedule transportation accordingly.
- Identify issues that are impeding production and collaborate with lead operator, production foreman, and area engineer to prescribe and implement a solution.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED, required.
- 2+ years of experience in oil and gas production operations preferred.
- Availability to be on call and periodically work nights.
- Ability to continuously work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to familiarize oneself with new equipment and technology.
- An unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record, required.
- Subject to all requirements to operate a company vehicle including willingness to submit to a pre-employment and on-the-job drug/alcohol screening.
