Successfully manage a fleet of PacLease rental units for all Mid-Atlantic and Southeast Pete Store locations. Primary objectives include maximizing utilization, rates, revenue per unit, and growth of the PacLease rental & lease customer network.


  • Cold calling and prospecting for new rental & lease customers as well as visiting existing customers to maintain relationships
  • Utilize technology such as RigDig, FleetSeek, LinkedIn, etc to discover and connect with potential new customers
  • Keep an organized schedule to separate time for visiting with current customers, exploring new ones, and handling operational duties
  • Partake in discovery meetings with prospects & customers to truly discover their needs & pain points to come up with a value based solution
  • Spec trucks in SmartSpec with resale and customer application as a priority; prepare accurate and complete deals in SalesSuite
  • Expect to travel periodically to other Pete Store locations as needed
  • Handle all daily tasks associated with rental department such as creating contracts, processing credit applications, ensuring correct insurance is in place and up to date, and billing invoices in a timely manner
  • Monthly rental billing in Karmak
  • Obtain monthly mileages from rental customers for billing and maintenance
  • Periodic inventory checks to ensure proper condition of rental fleet
  • Analysis and improvement of various KPIs such as Utilization and RPU (revenue per unit)
  • Communicate with local service team for repairs & maintenance; work hand in hand with PacLease service manager, referring all customers to contact their respective service advisors and service managers in time of breakdown
  • Daily checks of truck sales reports & factory invoices on eportal; verify all pre-bills, change orders, and build schedules for accuracy
  • Prepare and deliver new trucks for lease and rental sales including obtaining up to date insurance and obtaining new tags & IFTA registration if applicable
  • Assist in annual licensing & FHVUT renewals; rebilling customers as needed depending on contract details
  • Receive and forward fuel and trip receipts to forward to PacTax for fuel tax reporting when applicable

  • Two to four year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in situations.
