About the Role

We are looking for a Learning Management System (LMS) administrator to collaborate with the People Development team and Sound Physicians stakeholders nationwide to support our learning and leadership initiatives. This position reports to the Senior People Development Partner while supporting the People Development team. In this role you have three primary areas of focus:


The Details: This is a virtual, work-from-home opportunity.


Product Manager (Technical):

  • Manage and administer the Cornerstone OnDemand Learning Management System, including the ongoing design, configuration, testing, deployment, and end-user training for the Sound network.
  • Continue to improve and develop the modern learning user interface in the learning portal and mobile learning app using adult learning best practices.
  • Continuously evaluate tools/processes to ensure Sound has the best-in-class user experience that offers efficient, high-quality, and seamless learning.
  • Build and maintain a strategic relationship with LMS vendor ensuring Sound’s LMS is current, compliant, and working as designed to help minimize/mitigate any technical issues between our systems.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting support to Sound stakeholders as related to learning programs and LMS features.
  • Manage learning catalog management to ensure current, compliant, and relevant learning content is available within Sound Institute (Cornerstone).
  • Manage Cornerstone’s role-based access, communication, and training to colleagues with access to ensure they are fully equipped to support their teams.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Drive data, analytics, and reporting needs proactively for business stakeholders to drive decision making and/or provide valid, actionable insights based on learning effectiveness measures.
  • Establish and maintain a robust reporting framework, gather key analytics to create data visualizations, and have Domain knowledge.

Learning Design and Development:

  • Create innovative, functional learning solutions with streamlined processes to solve challenges and meet the needs of the customer (ILT, vILT, eLearning blended solutions).
  • Ability to exercise latitude to determine best learning solution approach.
  • Develop content focused on healthcare regulatory requirements and general compliance – internal/external facing.
  • Assist with virtual production support (Teams, Adobe Connect, and Zoom)
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment while delivering high-quality work on time.
  • Serve as peer mentor and/or coach to learning colleagues and members of the Sound network, providing one-on-one training, as well as in-person/virtual Sound professional development training sessions.

Knowledge:

  • Thorough knowledge of web-based content development and deployment systems, Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS) experience.
  • Adult Learning Theory (e.g., readiness to learn, orientation to learning, learning experience).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Training, Computer Science, or related field of study and/or 4 years of experience in related field accepted.
  • Knowledge of Audience and Training Needs Assessment best practices and processes.
  • People, Process, Programs, and System Integrations: understand all the data, dependencies and integration across the learning people experience.
  • Design Thinking / User-Centric approach to solution design and implementation
  • Proficiency in Articulate 360
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Adobe Premier Pro
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Analytical skills in validating data as well as quickly performing ad hoc analysis

Experience:

  • 4+ years’ experience working with Learning Management Systems (preferred Cornerstone)
  • Experience in data, analytics, and reporting
  • Experience in instructional design in developing learning content based on best adult learning theories and delivery modalities (e.g., blending learning, micro- and social learning)
  • A successful record in the design of blended learning experiences that include simulations, games, video, just-in-time learning solutions, job aids and infographics, and animation/motion graphics
  • Experience working in the Healthcare industry (preferred)
  • Experience developing training modules requiring technical writing/regulatory content
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate, influence and build trusted partnership with People Development Team
  • Ability to work in an agile and iterative way in a fast paced and collaborative environment
