The Lead Valet is responsible for delivering on our objective of creating a warm and welcoming experience for each patient and visitor of this busy healthcare facility. As a working Lead, you will not only deliver great experiences for patients and visitors, but create a culture of excellence during your shifts. You are a true customer service professional who inherently loves to help others and is happy to eliminate any anxiety that can come with a hospital visit. This fast-paced role requires the juggling of multiple duties including those related to operations, staffing, clients and customers.
As the Lead Valet, you coordinate the operations of the location while working alongside team members to ensure the patients, visitors and employees of the healthcare facility are well cared for.
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Valet Parking Responsibilities
- Performs valet services of parking, retrieving, and delivering customer vehicle
- Moves quickly and safely to get to customer's vehicle, drives it slowly and carefully
- Follows all standard operating procedures and safety policies
- Provides "front door assistance" to customers entering and exiting the establishment by offering information, direction, and assistance.
- Follows site specific safety and security procedures
- Follows all appearance standards, including uniform
- Greets and welcomes customers, facilitating their access to and use of the establishment.
- Handles cash, valet tickets, keys, and equipment in accordance with company policies.
- Performs concierge duties as needed. Hails taxicabs and stands at the front door or designated area in order to provide assistance.
- Ensures a clean working area by keeping the area neat and free of debris.
Lead Responsibilities
- Create and manage team schedules and rotations.
- Ensure all employees are present and at their scheduled post for all shifts
- Adjust the schedule to cover any last-minute changes
- Coordinate and communicate with the security team
- Ensure Beacon Hill's service standards are exceeded
- Fosters a spirit of teamwork and unity that enables each team member and the team as a whole to succeed
Required Skills/Abilities (including but not limited to):
- Possesses exceptional customer service skills
- Have a driver's license with a clean driving record
- Maintains a warm, friendly and professional demeanor when working with other employees, patients and visitors
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively both verbally and on paper
- Ability to proactively solve problems, but also knows when to ask for help
