Shift: Full-time Tuesday - Friday 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
Lead Ultrasound Technologist opportunity available for a knowledgeable and experienced technologist at our Corona Comprehensive Imaging Center.This leadership opportunity will have a Tuesday - Friday schedule (7:30 am to 6:00 pm), and is located at our multi-modality outpatient imaging practice in Corona, CA. The center provides a wide range of diagnostic imaging services to the community in a patient friendly and comfortable environment. As a lead sonographer you'll:
- With guidance from the center supervisor/manager, direct activities of technical staff, assist in interviewing potential candidates for ultrasound positions, provide training and guidance to the technical team, and assist management with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Perform Quality Assurance responsibilities, and assist management with site inspections and/or site accreditation.
- Perform a wide range of outpatient ultrasound exams, such as general ultrasound, abdomen, pelvis, OB, GYN, small parts, vascular, and other ultrasound exams on incoming patients.
- Keep the site supervisor/manager aware of conditions and activities which positively and negatively impact back office operations.
- Respond to questions, needs and concerns of all patients and referring physicians.
- Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
- Assist radiologists with patients and procedures as needed.
- May occasionally travel to our nearby centers to receive training and/or help with coverage if needed.
- Assist in the implementation and administering of procedures and best practices to streamline processes for center operations, and participate in and/or lead various projects to support center operations and quality patient care.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by upper management.

Requirements
We are looking for experienced and professional technologistwith successful completion of an accredited radiology program or
2-year degree;registered with the ARRT and state licensure (if applicable). Advanced level certification in the modality that the team member specializes (if available) plus prior experience in managing team members or a degree in management.
Pay Range $36.00-$38.00/ hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, location and training. This pay scale is not a guarantee of a particular wage.
