Early Education Teacher
We are looking for teachers for our 2-year-old and pre-k 3 class. We use Frogstreet curriculum at our center. Experience in Frogstreet is a plus.
Duties:
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and educational standards
- Provide instruction in various subjects, including math, science, language arts, and social studies
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement strategies for student success
- Manage classroom behavior and enforce school policies
- Utilize technology and other resources to enhance instruction
Skills:
- Early childhood education: Knowledge of child development principles and practices for young learners
- Experience working with students: Previous experience working with elementary school-aged children in a classroom or daycare setting
- Classroom management: Ability to create a structured and organized learning environment while promoting student engagement and positive behavior
- Childhood development: Understanding of the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of children
- Behavior management: Skills in managing student behavior and implementing effective discipline strategies
- First aid: Basic knowledge of first aid procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students
