Drive efficient and effective deployment of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tools to improve Honeywell business results. You will provide inputs to IT strategy and be the key liaison between business and IT leadership teams to validate customer requirements and solutions for the deployment of PLM GDM and other deployments. Responsible for driving PLM solutions & development for all of the five businesses. You will manage multiple PLM/CAD/Digital applications portfolios for the businesses. You will be responsible for identifying and delivering value to the businesses through both the implementation of innovative PLM solutions and leveraging existing PLM assets to enable the business strategy, and achieve goals, value drivers, and KPIs. You would work with business leaders globally and support them to achieve the business goals.

 

The successful candidate (you) will

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to understand business needs, processes, and information requirements and Architect solutions in PLM and adjacent technologies with industry best practices processes and recommendations from Siemens.
  • Work closely with Process Architect, and Business Analyst on end-to-end design of solutions.
  • Captures and analyzes requirements, Study of existing PLM environment, Gap Analysis, and Solution Design.
  • Review individual projects' functional specifications and develop technical design specifications (TDD).
  • Review each incremental development and deployment.
  • Escalating, and coordinating with PLM ISV / Siemens on PLM OOTB Issues.
  • Guide individual project teams during the Development and deployment of PLM, Integration, and Migration solutions.
  • Ability to work closely with business stakeholders to understand and influence how PLM and the business can align strategic goals and KPIs
  • Experience in developing business cases and managing PLM budgets
  • Ability to work closely with other groups, IT partners, and PLM suppliers/partners to achieve project/program goals
  • Experience in building and managing talent and developing high-performance teams
  • Excellent communication skills along with an ability to engage and influence senior managers/business leaders in a large/matrixed organization
  • Ability to communicate technically with technical teams within Honeywell and/or suppliers/partners while at the same time being able to work with and communicate to business stakeholders
  • Drive business relationships and manage both Internal IT/PLM and business stakeholders as well as IT/PLM Partners
  • Experience in creating and leading a Centre of Excellence (CoE)/captives/offshore units will be beneficial.
  • Manage the PLM team to deliver upon agreed KPIs
  • Support delivery teams on various projects to have the required multi-discipline PLM team including internal and 3rd party resources to ensure Customer Service
  • Delivery Excellence. Demonstrate eminence across various technologies and products that complement PLM solutions and develop a team with deep knowledge of such products and technologies
  • Co-ordinate and leverage relationships with leading PLM Co's and product vendors to assimilate product expertise build internal resources and help build thought leadership/POCs to grow business.
  • Resource management and project allocation. Drive Solution Development
  • Support the development of Proof of Concepts and Industry Solutions
  • Should have handled Delivery in the following Verticals Automotive, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Hi-Tech, and Aerospace
  • Ability to adapt or handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of experience in the design and development of Siemens Teamcenter PLM application for large global enterprises and green field implementation.
  • 5+ years of experience as Solution Architect, should have architected at least one large or two small to medium Teamcenter solutions, which included Part & BOM Management (CAD BOM, EBOM, MBOM), Option and variant management, Release and change Management, Document Management, Active Workspace (AWC), Integrations (CAD- NX & Mentor Graphics, ERP- SAP and other enterprise applications), Migration from legacy system to Teamcenter.
  • The preferred verticals are Aerospace, Transportation, Building Solutions, and Industrial
  • Education - A bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Experience in the implementation of large Teamcenter deployments and managing diverse global teams 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with all levels of external and internal customers
  • Experience with methodologies of Agile SCRUM Development

  • Experience with other PLM tools like PTC Windchill and Dassault Enovia a plus
