The Goddard School in Gainesville (Haymarket) VA is an award-winning, owner-operated, licensed, and COGNIA & Middle States Accredited preschool, teaching children aged six weeks through kindergarten. We are looking for experienced, energetic, and friendly Early Childhood Education Professionals to join our School.

Job Description:

As a Preschool or Toddler Teacher, you will utilize The Goddard School's proprietary curriculum, Wonder of Learning, to create your own lesson plans. Wonder of Learning aligns with our belief that children learn through play, which means that you will share in the fun while helping to build lifelong learners!

Our teachers look for learning opportunities that correspond with the children’s natural interests. If the teachers have planned a lesson on the solar system but the children are fascinated by the rain falling outside, they change the subject of the lesson to focus on the weather. The teachers can also customize the lessons to meet the individual needs of each child.

Goddard Schools provide a teacher-to-child ratio that allows all the children to receive the individualized attention they need to grow and learn at a comfortable pace. Our highly qualified teachers and administrators provide a fun, nurturing, and developmentally-appropriate program.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $22.50 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Early Childhood General Education Teachers: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
