Lead Superintendent

POSITION TITLE: Lead Superintendent

PAY STATUS: Non-exempt

SUPERVISES: N/A

PAY RANGE: $93,954.79- $170,149.86

Our company is currently looking for a Lead Superintendent for our Construction Department. The right candidate will be responsible for supervising Subcontractors and all field personnel on the jobsite. Update reports and assure quality control.

We specialize in Multi-Family/Mixed-Use and Commercial type projects.

Significant Duties:

• Scheduling and management of all subcontracted trades/project work
• Assist Project Manager with the set-up of temporary project facilities and utilities
• Establish and maintain contact with appropriate city officials and inspectors
• Scheduling and management of all self-performed field and project work
• Handle problems with subcontractors
• Adherence to all job site rules and regulations
• Work closely with all departments to maintain continuity of normal workflow
• Ensure that all jobs are constructed to contract, specification and detail
• Walk site to determine construction status and assure quality control
• Consistently utilize project software tools and Share Point Field folder
• Daily field reports and photos
• Prepare punch-list audit for each job and ensure that all punch-list items have been completed prior to occupancy
• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
• Familiarity with construction management software
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a vehicle, a valid driver's license, and be willing to travel.
