Projects will be working Night Shift 9pm - 5am at Walmart and Sam’s Club Stores, installing Structured Cabling and associated support and pathways.
As a result management would prefer to have technicians who have previously been involved in Low Voltage installation on remodeling projects at Walmart stores or other 'big box' retail environments.
This will be night shift, Sunday through Thursday for projects that will run from 16 to 20 weeks in duration. If travel is desired technicians could move to new sites after completion. Mileage is paid along with Per Diem of 700 weekly
Job Responsibilities:
Pulling, routing and terminating CAT5 or CAT6 in a Walmart store or similar large, big box retailer
Installing fiber (minimal)
Terminating data jacks
Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)
Must be comfortable working off lifts
Ability to install various types of data switches
Basic scope of work includes:
Pulling, routing, installing and terminating Structured Cabling infrastructure in a commercial environment.
4+ years experience installing voice and data systems in a commercial environment.
Ownership of basic telecom tools: Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc.
Familiarity with OSHA, BICSI, EIA, TIA or NEC Standards.
General Comments:
24-25hr Pay
100$ daily Per Diem
