Job Description:
- Analyze and review requirements, design and implement test specifications and test cases primarily for software functional requirements for electric power inverters and driveline actuator systems.
- Coordinate the test team activities to derive and implement test environment requirements to support validation activities in their corresponding test environments: electrical test bench, HIL or other automated environment or system dyno tests.
- Planning and coordination with system testing teams the implementation and execution of non-functional tests in coordination with other test engineers, system engineers and project leads.
- Develop Test Plans for Integration and qualification
- Create and review Test Specifications
- Develop Test Environment Requirements and Implementation
- Develop Plans and schedules, communicate changes and deviations.
- Mantain test reports, result logs and issues, communicate changes and deviations
- Mantain traceability and metrics
- Tailoring, managing and ensuring the conformance to AAM strategies, policies and procedures, and project level processes Including ISO 26262, ISO 29119 and ASPICE
- Mentoring earlier career engineers
- Not a supervisor but may lead and provide direction to a team of individuals.
Subsystem / Actuation Responsibilities
- Verification of the integrated hardware-software subsystem
- Tailoring and refinement of the integration and qualifiaction test strategies
- Planning and coordination of the testing activities for subsystem
Bachelor's or Master's degrees in Mechatronics, Electronics or Computer Science or similar background.
- 5+ years of working experience working as ISTQB certified tester foundation level or better
- 5+ years of working experience with requirements and test management tools. i.e: RQM / IBM Test Manager
- 5+ years of working experience with test automation using Python
- 5+ years of working experience in manual and automated test execution for software qualification or system integration for automotive systems
- 5+ years of working experience with automotive testing and development tools from NI, dSPACE, ETAS or Vector.
- 5+ years of working experience with automotive CAN, UDS and XCP protocols
Preferred:
- Working with cyber secure communications for automotive applications
- Working with driveline systems or other automotive mechatronic actuators
- Proficiency using IBM Doors NG, RQM and RTC.
- Working with version control under GIT and IBM RTC
