The Role
This position is a lead role in developing tools to support Planning and Engineering groups in the management of key company initiatives and strategies. Includes partnering in a team environment or be able to independently
Using Systems Thinking as an approach to problem-solving, develop solutions through database
Location
The position is entirely remote within the US.
The Main Responsibilities
- Engage in software development using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives to plan, track, and code development tasks.
- Promote Agile/Scrum methodologies and facilitate the adaptation of Lumen’s Agile Software Engineering Process
- Supervise and manage changes for supported applications, including the management and distribution of team assignments, while providing on-call
support . - Translate complex user stories into functional and actionable software, and create visual representations of logical business processes using Visio or other open-source
design tools - Adapt to new technologies, especially those that enhance reporting capabilities, and analyze,
design , develop, test, implement, and maintain applications software.

- Informatica IDMC - Data Profiling, Data Quality, Data Governance and Catalog, Data Integration, Mass Ingestion
- Pl/SQL

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems or related field or the equivalent in training and experience.
- 5+ years of experience data warehousing and/or business intelligence.
- 5+ years of experience developing applications and business solutions.
- Independent, logical thinker with attention to detail.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Ability to lead and work in a team-oriented environment where team members and business partners are located across the US and internationally.
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple tasks to meet established deadlines while accommodating rapidly changing priorities.
- Experience analyzing, designing, refining, and maintaining information processing systems in a large application environment.

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

$94420 - $125890 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.
$99390 - $132510 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.
$104360 - $139140 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.
$109330 - $145770 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
