about the role
The lead developer is responsible for leading the development team in designing and maintaining our pipelines, integrations and APIs, as well as, supporting them in the production environment.
responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of developers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success. Foster a collaborative and innovative development culture within the team.
- Act as primary Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for revology's client facing SaaS products.
- Leverage your proficiency in Python to design, develop, and maintain high-quality code.
- Implement and optimize AWS services, including Lambda functions, to build scalable and efficient cloud-based solutions.
- Manage and enhance Postgres databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Implement and maintain pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar cloud CI/CD tools to automate the software delivery process.
- Streamline development workflows and improve code quality through continuous integration and deployment.
- Leverage monitoring, logs and other tools to improve application performance and resilience.
- Debug and resolve production issues while maintaining appropriate change management and security procedures.
- Collaborate with architects to design and implement software solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Ensure the team adheres to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment processes.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies, bringing innovative ideas

requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Lead Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming and exposure to Pandas.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless (APIGW, Lambda, Event Bridge) and Postgres databases.
- Hands-on experience writing AWS CloudFormation or SAM.
- Expertise in implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.
- Experience with HIPAA and SOC 2 environments is a plus.

Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to: moving or handling (lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching overhead) office equipment and supplies weighing 1 to 25 lbs. unassisted.
