Seeking Lead Social Worker for the inpatient Geropsychiatric Unit and Child/Adolescent Psychiatric Unit at Donalsonville Hospital in Donalsonville, GA (34 minutes from Dothan, AL; an hour from Thomasville, GA; an hour & 14 min. from Albany, GA; and an hour & 20 minutes from Tallahassee, FL).
The Lead Social Worker assists the Program Director in the supervision and management of the Social Work Function within psychiatric services.
The Lead Social Worker is responsible for providing direct high quality psychotherapy services to patients in assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, group treatment, individual treatment, family treatment, and discharge planning.
The Lead Social Worker assists patients and their families in understanding and adjusting to diagnoses and potential treatments.
The Lead Social Worker can also help identify resources during treatment and after discharge. The Lead Social Worker effectively participates as a member of the multidisciplinary team and the unit community relations team.
The Lead Social Worker will have clinical supervision for Social Workers and Therapist.
