Job Summary and Qualifications

Lead Social Worker - Behavioral Health

Plans, organizes, directs, defines and coordinates clinical services necessary to meet the legal, organizational, medical staff and regulatory agencies guidelines. Provide case management, education and discharge planning. Performs community and educational activities.

Schedule:  Full-time, 8-430pm w/rotating weekends

What qualifications you will need:

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required
• Florida license required (LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required (within 30 days of employment start date)
• Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) required (within 30 days of employment start date)
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Social Services and/or Case Management experience preferred
• Experience with Behavioral Health patients a plus
• Successful Leadership / Management experience preferred

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

Demonstrated success and abilities in achieving results, communications, conflict management customer service, working in a team environment and handling multiple tasks pertaining to patient issues. Demonstrates assertive and diplomatic communication skills with a leadership style that initiates engagement, collaboration and direction with clearly defined expectations. A firm background in social service practice, patient aftercare and discharge planning required. Must be able to travel 4-6 hours per month to assist with referral development and community education activities.
